Welcome to the Monthly Newsletter for Financial Beginnings
|
|
Welcome to the very first edition of the FB Top 3! Each month we’ll share partner highlights, program milestones, and celebrate the amazing people who make financial empowerment possible.
|
|
1. ¡Todos Bienvenidos!
We just wrapped Spanish translations of our SAFE and K–6 Footings programs, opening the door to thousands more families who’ve been left out of the financial conversation for too long. Because financial empowerment should speak every language.

2. New Beginnings at Vita Nova
Last month, we launched our Forward program at Vita Nova Maternity Center in Omaha Nebraska, a residential community for pregnant women and new mothers. Paired with their life skills and mental health services, our financial education is helping residents take control of their futures—building the confidence and tools to break cycles of poverty, homelessness, and abuse.

3. Generational Wealth Starts Here
We’re proud to welcome the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation as a new partner in expanding free, culturally responsive financial education across rural and tribal communities in Southern Oregon. Their support helps break down barriers and build pathways to generational wealth. Together, we’re not just teaching financial skills, we’re strengthening communities.

“Amanda is the best. She put me on to Financial Beginnings and changed my life for the better in every way.” – Daniel A. Community Development Officer
|

Amanda has brought her passion for community and education to every classroom—whether she’s presenting to elementary students or leading workshops at senior centers in Auburn and Renton.
“Financial Beginnings has been the best organization for me to volunteer with,” says Amanda. “I love the opportunity to work with learners of all ages. Presenting is a great way to connect with our community and understand what matters most to the people who live here.”
Thank you, Amanda, for being a champion of financial empowerment across generations!
